Clean rooms due infection protocol
A team from research institute Analyselab travels during the Tour de France with Team LottoNL-Jumbo. Analyselab checks in cooperation with Polygon and Nocospray, the hotel rooms of the riders and takes certain hygiene precautions.
During the Critérium du Dauphine, the hotel rooms were checked. It turned out that the rooms were seriously polluted. After disinfection, the riders and staff could safely stay there.
Through air-condition with anti microbial filters, the rooms stay at a healthy temperature. It also makes the air clean. Analyselab replaces the showerheads to prevent a legionella infection. They also change the mattresses in the hotels. This infection protocol decreases the change of illness.
