Impressive premiere for new Bianchi Specialissima

At 780gr, Bianchi’s Specialissima frame changes the game in the ultralight frame category thanks to the use of MSC's patented Countervail® integrated vibration cancelling system for cycling

The brand-new Bianchi Specialissima recorded an impressive premiere at Tour de France's stage-10, 167 km from Tarbes to La Pierre Saint Martin (France) on Tuesday, July 14th.

Robert Gesink set up a real show on the first slopes of the final climb of the first Pyrenees stage, launching the first attack out of the favorites' group, and eventually placed fourth with a 1:33 gap from race leader Christopher Froome, stage winner ahead of Richie Porte (+59) and Nairo Quintana (+1:03). 29-year-old Gesink is now eighth overall, 4:35 behind Chris Froome.

SPECIALISSIMA, THE NEXT COUNTERVAIL EVOLUTION
At 780gr, Bianchi’s Specialissima frame changes the game in the ultralight frame category thanks to the use of MSC's patented Countervail® integrated vibration cancelling system for cycling, developed for NASA by Materials Sciences Corporation. The new Bianchi’s Countervail® ultralight carbon formula is specifically tuned to smooth out the inherent nervousness of ultralight frames.

Excellent traction and stability at high speeds makes Bianchi's Specialissima ideal tackling different types of surfaces during fast accelerations and super high-speed corners when maximum power and control are essential, like during the Tour de France's mountainous stages. Countervail® cancels vibrations that affect performance and transfers the rider's full energy into power.  A super fast and reactive climbing machine with unparalleled control and precision in the descents.
