Roglic remains third in Tour of Britain

Primoz Roglic remains third in the overall ranking after the Tour of Britain's seventh stage. In the longest stage of the British race, the Team LottoNL-Jumbo cyclists finished in the peloton at four minutes from the day's winner Ian Stannard, who formed part of the early breakaway.

"We have come through the day pretty well," Sports Director Jan Boven said. "There was a strong leading group that stayed ahead. The peloton started to chase too late.

"Our guys finished in the peloton. They tried to go in the breakaway, but with four of our riders within two minutes of the leader Alaphilippe that is difficult. "

Tomorrow the Tour of Britain ends with a criterium in the centre of London.
