George Bennett has kept his eighth place in the overall ranking in the fifteenth stage of the Giro d’Italia. The resident of New Zealand attacked on the penultimate climb in the Dolomites, but was countered by the later stage winner and Maglia Rosa Simon Yates. Bennett eventually finished in fourteenth place in the second chasing group, one minute and twenty seconds down.
